- This quest is started immediately after Bunker Buster.
- The Nuclear Option follows the same structure and flow as the other base-game variants.
- If General Ward is the leader of the Enclave, Captain Peterson will be in charge of the assault.
- If Colonel Whitehill is the leader of the Enclave, she will be in charge of the assault.
- If you opt to take Shaun with you, he will be found beside the Flight Control booth on the Atlantic Oil Rig.
