2000 Vanessa: Player has picked up Holotape. Have them listen to it.
2010 L Vanessa: Have player go to Salem.
2020 L Vanessa: Player arrived in Salem, start frequency and have player tune in.
2030 L Vanessa: Player has tuned to the frequency.
2040 L Vanessa: Player reached Mahkra's. Tell them to enter.
2041 L Vanessa: Colonel Whitehill coming to Mahkra's.
2042 L Vanessa: General Ward told about Mahkra's.
2045 L Vanessa: Player entered Mahkra's Fishpacking. Start AR_DN001.
2050 L Vanessa: Player spoke to X7-33.
2051 L Vanessa: X7-33 goes hostile.
2055 L Vanessa: Player used elevator.
2060 L Vanessa: Player reached main room. Enable Vanessa and show objectives.
2065 L Vanessa: Player has defeated her.
2070 L Vanessa: Vanessa dies.
2080 Vanessa: Mahkra arc finished.
3000 Personnel: Player has spoken to all Institute leads.
4000 Player has completed their objectives. Return to General Ward
4000 FAILURE: Player kicked out of the Institute. Return to General Ward.
4000 SKIPPED: Player already kicked out of the Institute at quest launch. Holotape given to myers.
4500 COMPLETED: Player updated General Ward. Transition to AR_MQ301 active. Quest still running until player accepts AR_MQ301.
5000 SHUT DOWN - Promote player to Major.
6000 FAILED.

Notes

  • This quest can be failed if the player gets kicked out of the Institute while the quest is active. If this happens, the quest skips.
  • If the player is already kicked out of the Institute when this quest starts, the quest will instead tell the player to complete Data Siphon (by getting the Network Scanner Holotape to Chief Engineer Myers) and shut down once that has been completed, progressing to Mobilization
